Children's Handbell Choir & Global Drumming Ministry

Our children's handbell choir meets on Sunday morning during the school year from 9:15 to 9:45. Pam Taylor teaches the kids proper techniques and music fundamentals. All children in 4th grade and up are able to attend.

Drumming as a community with children at church is like a coming together of a common heartbeat. Our form of drumming at Trinity is called fuse (bucket drumming). We listen to the steady, pulsing beat of His presence in our lives. In Luke 18:17, God calls us to "come to Him like a little child." Drumming in a circle encourages spontaneous and playful expression of the heart and allows us to explore this kind of open hearted, sincere play. It is not surprising to hear our children say, "we all sound as one" or "we are really listening to each other." The drumming circle is about being in rhythm with God as members of our church.

Bucket drummers meet each Sunday morning at 9:15am in the upstairs bell room. We also practice and connect our rhythmic learning to the art of playing.
