Men's Bible Study

This community group meets weekly in the Multipurpose Room at 12pm and is lead by Senior Pastor Steve Smith. Lunch is catered by Golden Corral and the cost is $11.

Thursday Bible Study

Associate Pastor Anne Sims leads this group. Past studies include The Vision of His Glory by Anne Graham Lotz and Nehemiah by Kelly Minter. iBeginning June 21, we will be enjoying a look at familiar stories "from the back side" with an assist from the series by J. Ellsworth Kalas. This study is perfect for summer: each lesson stands alone, so if you miss one, you won't fall behind. Childcare for children 3 and under is available by request; please contact Pastor Anne at asims@nccumc.org with questions or childcare requests.


Trinity Military Fellowship

Our community has many veteran, retired, and active duty military members. This group meets regularly for food, fellowship, devotions, and support. All are welcome. Childcare is provided. Meeting times are the 9am - 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month for breakfast, and 6pm on the last Monday of the month for dinner. You do not need to be a member or even attend Trinity. All are welcome.

Adult Sunday School Groups (all classes at 10 am)


Young Adult Sunday School Class upstairs in Room 225/227

We are a lively group with ages ranging from the 20s to 40s.  The opinions of this group are diverse and varied.  We support service projects and plan several social events throughout the year. The class format is typically video, followed by discussion-based Bible study.  We discuss a wide range of topics, including current events and modern challenges to faith.

Fellowship Class in the Fellowship Hall  

This class of older adults begins with a brief time of mingling and then a song and short devotional. Lessons are taught from the standard Cokesbury Methodist curriculum by volunteers from the class.

Adult Sunday School Class in the Multipurpose Room

Once called the ‘Young Adult’ Class, we have grown in a congenial group ranging in age 40-70+.  We have 2 socials a year and work together to sponsor Christmas Cheer.  The class format is video-based studies, study of scripture, discussion of current events, & faith challenges. We are currently studying the series "Follow" by Andy Stanley.

The Gather Class upstairs in Room 217

This class, for adults in the 20s to 40s,  is learning about scripture and how our understanding of the Bible impacts how we live. Their current study is Seamless: Understanding the Bible as One Complete Story, by Angie Smith.

Bible Discovery Class upstairs in Room 228/230

This class, for all ages,  studies a variety of topics centered on the Bible, including scriptural studies, life experiences, and world religions. We have completed several studies by Adam Hamilton.  Group members rotate leading lessons from written and video resources.

Sojourner Sunday School Class in the Library

This friendly, caring group of adults range in age from 30's to 90's. They read and discuss Scripture based books. Some of our favorite contemporary authors are Andy Stanley, Adam Hamilton, and Max Lucado. Most studies are enhanced with videos.
